Sadly, Cracker Barrel does not offer a catering service. However, they do have country-sized meals that can feed a family of six. These meals include a main dish, side items, and bread items. Main dishes include chicken dumplins’, meatloaf, and roast beef. Side items include whole kernel corn, fried apples, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese. Additional items such as Cracker Barrel soup and peach fruit cobbler are also available. The country-sized dinner is an all-around buffet of great Cracker Barrel foods. Even without a catering service, Cracker Barrel has delicious breakfast and lunch & dinner menus as well as, of course, the aforementioned country-sized meals. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, or Cracker Barrel for short, is an American chain of combined restaurant and gift stores. The company has a Southern country theme and was founded by Dan Evins in 1969 in Tennessee. Evins, a sales representative for Shell Oil, initially developed the restaurant as a way to improve gasoline sales because most locations featured gas pumps. He designed it to resemble a traditional country store from his childhood. The first Cracker Barrel restaurants were built near highway exits to attract interstate travelers in the 1970s. Cracker Barrel’s menu is Southern cuisine-dominated with foods such as homemade chicken salads, half pound hamburgers, and oven roasted turkey breasts.
