Two years later, the restaurant changed its name to its present name Boston Market. This is to reflect the addition of turkey, ham and meat loaf in their menu list. The company also launched their ready-to-heat banquet meals for the holidays. 1998 was a bleak year for Boston Market when they were forced to file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. In 2000, MacDonald’s bought the Boston Market chain. The restaurant chain completed updates to locations across the United States in 2011 and added new healthier menu items and enhanced the dining experience with real plates and silverware, and food delivered to the table.
